Billing & Subscription
Every Iraca workspace runs on a plan, and this is where you see and change it. You'll find it under Billing in the main navigation — visible to owners and admins only.
The plans
New workspaces start on Free, and everything below applies from the day you sign up.

Enterprise is custom-priced and adds the white-label storefront, a custom domain and an SLA — contact us to talk it through.
On every plan your books keep recording in the background — each sale, receipt and payment posts to the ledger as it happens — even where you can't view the statements yet. Upgrading to Standard shows everything that has been recorded since the start.
Plans you may have seen before
Seedling, Bud, Sprout, Grove, Canopy and the Recipe Studio plans are no longer offered to new workspaces. If you're already on one, nothing changes — it keeps working exactly as before, and you can stay on it. It still shows as your current plan on this page, and you can switch to Free or Standard whenever you want.
Your current plan
The subscription card shows your plan name and price, a status badge (Trialing, Active, Past due, Suspended, or Cancelled), and — while on a trial — the date it ends.
Past due means a renewal payment didn't go through. You keep full access while Stripe automatically retries over the following days — update your card (via Manage in Stripe) to clear it. If every retry fails, the subscription eventually lapses to Suspended or Cancelled.
Changing your plan
Choose any plan card to switch to it. What happens next depends on where you're starting from:
- On the free plan, moving up to a paid plan? No card is required to start — you go straight onto a 14-day free trial (status becomes Trialing), exactly as before.
- Dropping down to the free plan? The switch takes effect right away, with nothing to pay.
- Already on a paid plan (or a trial of one) and picking a paid plan? This starts your paid subscription now. Iraca uses the card already on file, or asks you to add one first if there isn't one. If your bank requires an extra confirmation step, a secure prompt appears to finish it — once it clears, your new plan is active and your first invoice appears below.
To subscribe to a paid plan:
- Open Billing and choose the plan card you want. Use the monthly / yearly toggle first if you'd like annual pricing.
- If you don't have a card on file, a secure form opens — enter your card and choose Save card. If one's already saved, Iraca uses it automatically.
- If your bank prompts for confirmation, complete it. When it clears, the plan flips to Active and your first invoice appears in the Invoices list below.
Only the workspace owner can change plans.
Trial countdown
Once your trial has 7 days or fewer left, a banner reminds you and links straight to the plan cards. If a trial ends without a paid subscription in place, your workspace moves to the Free plan automatically: nothing is locked and nothing is deleted. You can pick a paid plan again from Billing whenever you're ready.
Your payment method
The Payment method card shows the card on file for your workspace — its brand, last four digits, and expiry. This card covers add-ons, shipping labels, and other one-off charges, and it's available on every plan, including the free one, so you can save a card before you ever pick up a paid subscription.
To add or replace your card:
- Open Billing and find the Payment method card.
- Choose Add card — or Update card if one's already saved.
- In the secure form, enter the cardholder name and your card number, expiry, and CVC.
- Choose Save card. If your bank asks for an extra confirmation step, a prompt appears — complete it to finish.
Your card is verified and stored by Stripe; Iraca never sees or keeps the full number. Once it's saved, purchases like shipping labels go through without interruption instead of stopping to ask for a card.
If a shipping label or add-on charge is ever declined with a "no payment method on file" message, add a card here and try again.
Managing your subscription card and viewing invoices
Manage in Stripe (shown on paid plans) opens Stripe's hosted billing portal to update the card tied to your subscription and manage billing details. Your invoices also appear right on this page, each with a PDF download.
If Manage in Stripe or your invoice list comes up empty, your workspace hasn't been connected to Stripe yet — this is expected for a trial that hasn't reached its first charge. Email support@iraca.app and we'll get your billing account set up.
Any add-ons active on your workspace are billed the same way, through the same Stripe connection as your plan.
Cancelling and resuming
Cancel subscription ends your plan at the close of your current billing period — you keep full access until then. Change your mind before that date, and Resume subscription puts things back exactly where they were.
Plan usage
The Plan Features card shows how much of your plan you're using — products, warehouses, connected channels, and team members — each as a count against your plan's limit, with a bar that turns amber as you approach it and red once you're at or over.
Trying an add-on before you buy it
Most add-ons come with a 14-day free trial, on any plan, including Free. Click Start 14-day free trial on the add-on's card on the Billing page; no card is needed. The card then counts down the days you have left.
- Want to keep it? Click Subscribe now at any point during the trial and add a card. You aren't charged straight away: your first charge lands on the day your trial would have ended, and the card says when. You keep every trial day you were given.
- Let the trial run out? Access stops when the trial ends and the card reads Your free trial has ended. Click Subscribe whenever you're ready to come back. Each add-on's trial can only be used once, so the trial button doesn't come back.
- Changed your mind during the trial? Click Cancel trial. Nothing is charged.
If a payment for an add-on you subscribe to fails, its card says so. Update your card under Payment method above to keep the add-on, rather than subscribing again.
Running out of room for products
Free includes 5 products and recipes and Standard includes 100. You don't have to move up a plan to keep going. The SKU & Recipe Expansion add-on raises your limit by 100 products and 100 recipes for $10/month, and you can hold as many blocks as you need — three blocks is 300 more of each, for $30/month on top of your plan.
Find it with the rest of the add-ons on the Billing page. Once you have it, the card shows how many blocks you're holding and what they cost together, with + and − buttons to change that at any time:
- + adds another block. Your limit goes up straight away, and your next invoice reflects the new number.
- − gives one back. Your limit drops by 100, so if you're already above the lower number you'll want to be sure you're under it before reducing.
At one block the − button is switched off. Removing your last block means giving up the add-on, so that's done with Cancel add-on instead — the same as any other add-on, and it takes effect at the end of your billing period.
Two things worth knowing:
- Your recipe limit moves with it. Each block adds 100 recipes as well as 100 products, on plans that cap them.
- It's sold on every plan. On Free, one block takes you from 5 to 105 products for $10/month. If you later move up to Standard ($29/month, 100 products and Books & Financial Reports), the blocks Standard makes unnecessary are removed from your subscription automatically, with a prorated credit, so you don't pay for the same room twice. Blocks beyond what Standard covers are kept: with two blocks on Free (205 products), you move to Standard plus one block (200).
Label blocks
If you ship regularly, a label block gives you a set number of shipping labels bought through Iraca each month at postage only, with no Iraca fee: 50 for $25, 200 for $89 or 500 for $199 a month. Blocks are sold on every plan, Free included, and appear with the other add-ons on this page; subscribing saves your card, which is also the card your shipping wallet tops up from.
You hold one block at a time. Choosing a different size (Switch to this block) changes your subscription rather than adding a second one, and Stripe prorates the difference. Blocks are monthly: unused labels don't roll over, and labels past the block carry your plan's label fee, shown per label on your wallet statement, never on your subscription invoice.
