Referral Program
Know another business that would get value from Iraca? Refer them, and when they subscribe to a paid plan you earn account credit — while they start with a longer free trial. Everything lives on your Billing page, in the Refer a business card.
Your referral link
Open Billing and find the Refer a business card. It shows your personal referral link (and the code inside it) — click Copy link to grab it, then share it however you like: email, a message, your newsletter.
Anyone who signs up through your link is automatically attributed to you. There's nothing to set up first — your link is ready the moment you open the card.
What your referral gets
When someone starts their account from your link, they see a "You were referred!" banner on the sign-up screen and begin with an extended free trial — extra days on top of the standard 14, so they have more room to explore before deciding.
What you earn
You earn a fixed account credit for every referral who becomes a paying customer. Here's the journey a referral takes, which you can follow from the stat tiles on the card:
- Pending — they've signed up under your link but haven't subscribed to a paid plan yet.
- Qualified — they've made their first successful payment. Your reward is confirmed and a short holding period begins. We'll email you when this happens.
- Rewarded — the holding period has passed and they're still subscribed, so the credit has been applied to your account. We email you again when it lands.
The holding period exists so a reward only pays out once a referral truly sticks. If a referral cancels during that window, the reward simply doesn't issue — nothing is taken back from you later.
How the credit reaches you
Your reward is issued as Stripe account credit. You don't need to redeem anything — the credit sits on your billing account and is applied automatically to your next invoice. When you have credit available, the card shows the current balance.
Good to know
- One referral per business. A given business can only be referred once, by the first link they use.
- No self-referrals. Signing yourself up through your own link — including with a second account on the same card — won't earn a reward.
- Credit, not cash. Rewards are account credit toward your Iraca subscription, not a cash payout.
The referral card and your credit balance are visible to owners and admins on the Billing page.
