Pick Lists

A pick list pulls all the units you need to fulfill a batch of orders into one consolidated walk through the warehouse, instead of picking order by order. Generate one from Pick Lists in the left nav, or from the tablet-optimized Fulfillment Mode.

Generating a pick list

  1. Open Pick Lists and click New Pick List.
  2. Choose one or more marketplaces to include, and a date range — see Choosing a date range below.
  3. Optionally give it a name. Leave it blank and Iraca names it after the marketplace and the time it was generated, e.g. "Amazon Pick List — Sep 24, 2026, 9:29 PM".
  4. Click Generate. Iraca pulls every sales order in range and consolidates the lines by product and warehouse. Cancelled orders are left out — there's nothing to ship for them. So are local delivery orders, which go out on a route rather than as parcels.

If the same product is sold both on its own and as a component inside a kit bundle, Iraca merges them into a single line with the combined quantity — you pick one pile for that SKU, not two.

Choosing a date range

Every option counts in days, and a day doesn't run midnight to midnight — it runs from one cutoff time to the next. The cutoff is the time each marketplace's order day resets, which you set per marketplace in Settings → Marketplace Cutoff Times. For example, with an Amazon cutoff of midnight Pacific, "Saturday" means Saturday 12:00 AM to Sunday 12:00 AM Pacific. A marketplace with no cutoff set uses ordinary calendar days, midnight to midnight.

OptionWhat it coversExample: generated Sunday afternoon
Since last cutoffEverything placed since the marketplace's most recent cutoff — today so far.Sunday so far
YesterdayThe whole previous day, cutoff to cutoff.Saturday
Last 2 daysToday so far plus all of yesterday.Saturday and Sunday so far
Last 3 daysToday so far plus the two full days before it.Friday, Saturday and Sunday so far
Custom rangeThe calendar days you pick, each one cutoff to cutoff. Leave To blank to run through right now."Sep 20 to Sep 22" covers all three full days

A few things to know:

  • "Last 2 days" and "Last 3 days" always include today. They count today as the first day, then go back — they don't start from yesterday.
  • You never enter a time of day. Custom ranges only ask for dates; the cutoff decides where each day begins and ends.
  • If you pick several marketplaces with different cutoffs, the list starts at the earliest of their cutoffs and ends at the latest, so no order from any of them is missed.
  • Orders from before the range can still appear if they're open and haven't been on any pick list yet — see Carried-over orders.
  • The screen shows a one-line explanation of whichever option you've selected, right under the Date Range menu.

The list's header shows the days it covers — "Sep 25, 2026 – Sep 27, 2026" — with the exact cutoff-to-cutoff times in small print underneath. The second time reads one day later than the last day (for example, Sep 28, 3:00 AM) because that's the instant the last day ends, not an extra day.

Carried-over orders

A pick list's date range is based on when each order was placed, so an order can miss every list for two reasons.

No list covered its day. A list generated in the morning covers from that day's cutoff until the moment you generate it, so the orders placed later that day are on no list until the next one. If the next morning's list starts at that day's cutoff, or a day goes by with no list at all, those orders fall between lists. A schedule that runs at the cutoff avoids this, because each scheduled list starts where the previous one ended.

The marketplace held it. Marketplaces don't always hand an order over right away, though — Amazon in particular can hold an order as Pending (usually while it verifies payment) for hours, days, or occasionally up to two weeks. Iraca imports it straight away as Awaiting payment, which holds its stock but keeps it off pick lists, and it only becomes pickable once Amazon releases it. By then the pick list for the day it was placed may already exist, and every later list starts after that day.

So that neither kind of order ever falls between two lists, generating a pick list also brings in any open order placed in the 14 days before the range that isn't on any pick list yet. These show a Carried over tag in the list's orders, and a note at the top tells you how many there are. An order that's already been on a pick list is never pulled in a second time.

Orders cancelled after the list was made

If an order is cancelled after you've generated the list — on Amazon, for example — a red warning at the top of the list (and on the tablet and printed copy) names it. Its units are still counted in the lines, so skip them when you pick.

Scheduling pick lists

If you make the same pick list every morning, let Iraca make it for you. Tick Repeat on a schedule in the Generate dialog, choose how often and what time, and the list you're generating counts as the first one. You can also set one up from Pick Lists → Scheduled → New schedule.

  • How often: every day, on the days you choose (weekdays, or Monday, Wednesday and Friday, for example), or once a week.
  • Time: in your business's time zone. A 7:00 AM schedule stays at 7:00 AM when the clocks change.
  • Send to: owners and admins can send a schedule to anyone on the team. Everyone else schedules lists for themselves.
  • Email: each list is emailed with what's left to pick on every line, plus a link to open it. Turn the email off if you only want the list on the tablet.

Each scheduled list is an ordinary pick list. It shows in Pick Lists and in fulfillment mode with a Scheduled badge, and you work, print and complete it the same way.

What each scheduled list covers

Every scheduled list covers the orders placed since the previous one, so nothing falls between two lists and nothing is on two of them. It also leaves out orders that are already on a list, including one someone generated by hand in between. Open orders from earlier that were on no list are carried over, as with any pick list.

If there's nothing new to pick, no list is made and no email is sent. Tick Also email when there's nothing to pick if you'd rather hear that it ran.

Managing schedules

Pick Lists → Scheduled lists every schedule with when it runs, who it goes to and when the next list is due.

  • Make it now makes the next list straight away. The schedule's usual time doesn't change.
  • Pause stops the schedule until you Resume it. When it resumes, the first list starts from your most recent cutoff rather than covering the whole pause.
  • Edit changes the name, marketplaces, days, time or recipient.
  • Delete removes the schedule. Lists it already made stay.

If you receive a scheduled list, you can pause or delete it yourself, even if someone else set it up.

If the person a schedule goes to leaves the team, it pauses itself and shows in What Needs You on the dashboard. Edit it and choose someone else to start it again.

Working the list

Each warehouse gets its own table of SKU, product, bin, quantity needed, quantity picked, how many are Left to pull (Needed minus Picked), and how many orders it covers. Click any column header to sort by it — useful for working bin-by-bin or largest-quantity-first.

Picked is a running count, not a checkbox. Type a number directly into the field to record exactly how many you pulled — if the shelf only has 8 of the 12 you need, enter 8 and the line shows the shortfall rather than looking untouched. The checkbox in the first column is a shortcut: tick it to mark the whole line picked in one action, untick it to reset back to zero.

A line with nothing picked has no highlight, a partially picked line highlights amber, and a fully picked line highlights green with its text struck through.

Fulfilling an order also counts it as picked

When you fulfill an order, from the order page or the Fulfill Orders screen, its units are added to Picked on every open pick list that includes that order. A line never goes past Needed. If you already counted the same units on the pick list, they can be counted twice, so adjust Picked by hand if it reads too high. Completed lists are never changed.

Completing the list

Once you're done, click Mark Complete. The pick list is locked as completed — it stays in your history for reference, but its lines are no longer editable.

Use Print at any point (even mid-pick) to get a paper copy for a picker without a screen. The printout shows what has been picked so far and what is left, in the order you sorted the screen. A line with nothing picked yet keeps a blank to write in.

On a tablet

The same picking works from a shared floor tablet in Fulfillment Mode, with a barcode scanner and larger tap targets — see that article for the scan-driven workflow.

This guide covers the Iraca app and its add-ons. The Iraca Marketplace is documented separately.
