Listing Your Practice in the Directory (For Process Authorities)
If you are a Process Authority — a credentialed food scientist, university extension lab, or accredited private laboratory — you can list your practice in the Iraca directory for free. Listing connects you with small food businesses that need a Process Authority to review and approve their scheduled processes under 21 CFR Part 114.
How to apply
- Go to iraca.app/food-safety-directory/apply (no account required).
- Fill in the application form:
- Your name and organization
- Credentials and background (degrees, certifications, years of experience)
- Regions you serve
- Food categories you cover (e.g. hot sauces, pickles, fermented products)
- Typical turnaround time and price range (optional but helpful for producers)
- Website and contact email
- Submit the form.
Your application goes to the Iraca team for review. We'll approve it and notify you by email, typically within a few business days.
After approval — confirming your listing
Once approved, you'll receive a welcome email at the contact address you provided. The email contains a link to your listing confirmation page.
On that page you can:
- Review all the information we have on file
- Correct anything that's wrong or outdated
- Hit Confirm my listing to mark it as verified
Listings you've confirmed show a Verified badge in the directory, which helps producers identify listings whose information is current and PA-approved.
The confirmation link does not expire. You can return to it at any time to update your information.
Updating your listing
Use the same confirmation link from your welcome email to update your information at any time. If you've lost the link, contact hello@iraca.app and we'll resend it.
Removing your listing
At the bottom of your confirmation page, click Remove my listing. Your listing will be hidden from the directory immediately. You can reapply at any time.
You can also request removal by replying to the welcome email or emailing hello@iraca.app.
Featured placement
Featured listings appear at the top of the directory with a highlighted card, giving your practice more visibility with producers. Featured placement is available to PAs who partner with Iraca — contact hello@iraca.app for details. Featured placement is time-limited and billed separately from Iraca subscriptions.
