What Needs You
Some things in Iraca stop and wait for a person: an order held for approval, an order a customer submitted themselves, a resale certificate sent in for review. Until now each of those sat on its own screen, and you found it by going and looking.
They now collect in one place.
On your dashboard
Needs your attention sits near the top of the dashboard and lists everything waiting, with a count and a link straight to the work.
It disappears completely when there's nothing waiting. A panel that's permanently there saying "nothing to do" is furniture you stop reading, which defeats the point of a panel meant to be noticed.
In the sidebar
Five nav entries carry a count badge when something under them is waiting: Orders (orders held for approval, orders your customers have submitted, and orders stalled mid-shipment), Contacts (dead portal invitations and customers over their credit limit), Requests for Quote, Quotes, and Accounts Payable. That's the part you see without going to the dashboard.
By email
The daily summary
One email, on mornings when something is waiting. Orders to approve, certificates to review, supplier quotes to compare.
Nothing is sent on quiet days. A daily "all clear" is how an email earns itself a filter rule, and an email everyone filters notifies nobody.
You can turn it off under Settings → Account → Email notifications. It's on for everyone by default, because a notification nobody receives until they go and find the setting isn't a notification.
Orders held for approval are different
Those email you immediately, and the daily-summary switch doesn't affect them.
They're the one case where waiting a day has a cost outside your business: a customer has been quoted a price and nothing ships until an owner decides.
You won't be asked to approve your own order
Iraca requires a different owner to approve an order than the one who confirmed it, so the approval email goes to the other owners. If you confirmed it, you won't be emailed about it — and you wouldn't be shown the buttons anyway.
Who sees what
The list is filtered to what you can actually do.
Approving orders is owner-only, so if you're an admin or a member you won't be told that three orders need approval — being sent to a screen with no buttons is worse than not knowing. Other things, like an order a customer submitted, are work anyone at the business can pick up, so everyone sees those.

| Products sold in the last 30 days with no cost recorded, so the sale booked no cost of goods, until the product has a cost (How a product's cost is worked out) | Owners and admins |
| Recipe ingredients with no cost, so every recipe using them reads low, until the ingredient has a cost (How a product's cost is worked out) | Owners and admins |
Three of these are judgment calls worth knowing about. A lapsed quote means the price you offered is no longer live — following up is a decision to requote, not a system error. An order stalled mid-shipment only shows up once it has sat that way for a few days; a shipment still in progress from this morning is not flagged. A customer overdue for a reorder is computed overnight from their own order history — it takes at least two past orders of a product to establish a pattern, and the flag only fires once the gap since their last order genuinely exceeds their own average, not merely reaches it.
